Dr. David Ross was born in Philadelphia and was raised in Allentown, PA. Dr. Ross graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology and Physiology. From there, he continued his education at the University of Maryland Dental School and received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree.
His training continued at the University of Maryland Dental School, where he completed a three-year residency program in orthodontics receiving a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. He also earned a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Ross is Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Only twenty five percent of all U.S. orthodontists have achieved this status.
Dr. Ross’s professional affiliations include the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists. He is also an active board member of the Hanover Gettysburg Dental Society. Dr. Ross is very involved in local community programs and is an active member and participant with the Hanover Chamber of Commerce and the Hanover Area Young Professionals.
As well as orthodontics, Dr. Ross loves spending time with his wife, Karli, and his 2 young children, Stella and Jake. When he is not in the office you can find Dr. Ross running, playing golf, skiing, reading and travelling.
